Sometimes you’ll have tears in your eyes and dirt under your fingernails. But in spite of the bruises and scrapes there’s a joy that will help you to sing at midnight and a sense of mission that will cause you to cry, “Here am I, send me” (Isaiah 6:8). Nobody said it was going to be easy! Some days all you can do is stand! When you cannot seem to put one foot in front of the other-stand! Just realize that there’s never been a day that lasted forever.
