The Urban Male Leadership Academy at BMCC invites you to attend a special workshop entitled Sealing the Deal: Dressing and Speaking for Success as a Student and Business Person featuring Business Management Professor Joel Evans. This workshop will sharpen your communication skills and help you to strengthen your academics, network effectively, gain/maintain employment, and improve your overall business acumen. The workshop will take place on Wednesday, May 1st in room N486 from 2:00pm-4:00pm. This workshop is free and open to all BMCC students. You are strongly encouraged to come professionally dressed and have a short personal statement (1-2 paragraphs written or memorized) about yourself prepared. You will also learn about internships, free career training, and business mentoring opportunities available for BMCC students through StreetWise Partners, a high-impact non-profit professional development organization. This is a must-attend workshop for students who take their future careers seriously. Food will be served. Please reply back and RSVP so that I can order enough food for everyone.
