There is a difference in low cost and standard air carriers
The difference seems to be the service. After all, once the plane is in the air, the ride is the same.
Delta service is really a throw back to the days when air travel was not as common as it is today. The personnel are polite attractive and appear to care about the comfort of the passengers.
